Method

  1. Lightly salt the karela and rest for 10 minutes. Rinse and squeeze dry.

  2. Heat oil, sauté onion until golden.

  3. Add crushed garlic and cook until fragrant.

  4. Add karela and spices. Cook uncovered on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until soft and lightly crisp.

Serve with: Chapatti or dal & rice
